A: Most newer model Nissan cars, trucks and SUVs use synthetic oil and it is recommended that you change the oil every 7,5000 to 10,000 miles or six months, whichever comes first. Older model vehicles using non-synthetic oil may require an oil change every 3,000 to 5,000 miles. It’s best you consult the owner's manual of your vehicle for an exact mileage or time duration interval.
A: If you're like most car drivers, you have no idea what to do when the Check Engine indicator light comes on.
